I created Flutterkick because I couldn't find what I needed. As a former competitive swimmer and water polo player, swimming has always been a big part of my life. after stepping away from competition, I still wanted to stay in shape and keep training — but I quickly realized there weren’t any modern tools built specifically for swimmers.
most of the apps I came across were either outdated, too generic, or just didn’t understand what it means to train in the water. I wasn’t looking for another fitness tracker — I wanted something focused, simple, and designed for real swim workouts.
so I decided to build it myself.
Flutterkick started as a personal project — a clean, intuitive way to create and log swim sets that actually made sense to me. no clutter, no over-complicated dashboards — just the core tools I wanted to stay consistent and push myself in the pool.
over time, I realized other swimmers might be looking for the same thing. that’s when Flutterkick became more than just a tool for myself — it became a platform for anyone who wants to train smarter, stay motivated, and keep swimming part of their life.
thanks for checking it out. I hope Flutterkick helps you stay connected to the sport — and the water — the way it has for me.
